As a special needs mom…

Do you need some encouragement?

Someone who understands your situation?

A weekly pick-me-up?

We have a podcast just for you.

A podcast for special needs moms, by special needs moms.

You’ll hear inspiring stories, practical tips, and encouragement you can use on a daily basis.

About Us

Sara, Amy, and I met during a mastermind class for writers right before the pandemic in 2020. Even though our children with special needs were vastly different, we bonded over common feelings, emotions, and experiences.

We had heard from special needs moms just like you that they might not have time to pick up a book, but they would listen to a short podcast. Then the idea for Take Heart was born. We launched September 1, 2020, and are going strong. The inspiration for our content and title came from the scripture in John that says, “…In the world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
